while it's mostly about prescription places, I wrote down a few thoughts on how to go about researching an online pharmacy and also mentioned names of a few that I've heard of patients here ordering from.
It's definitely a 'buyer beware' situation.
Veterinary antibiotics are often identical to human ones, and if you do a search for 'veterinary' you'll find a few discussions in the archives. Do your research very, very carefully, and be aware that we often are not thinking clearly when we have this disease.

and here's my writeup about 'ordering your own blood tests' (this only applies to a few labs, not iGenex or other good tick-borne disease labs, but it's helpful if you are having to self-treat): http://lymefriends.ning.com/forum/topics/ordering-your-own-tests

thank you very much everyone for your kind responses- i'm waiting on a pending membership at lymefriends- can't read anything at the site unless i'm a member- mariaA, re: thinking clearly- you got me thinking back to when i used to drive down the road and had to pull over because i simply could not remember for the life of me where the heck i was going- i had already been sick for a couple of years when the forgetfullness really kicked in- i was exhausted- and i had to pull over often- then one time when i pulled over i noticed a billboard with an enormous tick on it and the number 1 800 tic bite- that's all- but it was all it took ... and i would LOVE to hug the person responsible for that ad because it put me on the right track! i was living in NJ at the time- long story why i had to leave NJ ... meh ... but the short story is that i need to self treat- i've no desire to wind up co-pay poor again at this stage in the game, to pay drs 25 - 50 bucks and then some after all is said and done for no results- (i'd have more fun throwing cash away at a casino! but i don't go to such places-) anyways, i need to be kind to me, to be my own advocate- i'm not talking aggressive medicating- more like mild pulsing- even if i have to do it the rest of my life-

I have bought imitrex for years from India because I can't afford it otherwise. I get it for about $3 from overseas but it costs about $24 a pill here!!
I have also ordered a few abx which were cheaper than here. My doctor said they might not be the same strength but he did not warn me they could kill me.
You cannot buy roxithromycin in the US and I have gotten it from India as well as azithromycin. As I got much better while taking it, my mind and body did not get worse or have serious side effects, then I would say it is not toxic.
