Had appt. w LD today. Put me on new pain med.

Looked it up on the net and didn't really like

what I read. Has anyone got any experience w/it

for chronic pain. I prefer to take something

only when I really can't handle it anymore. This

will be a continual thing and I'm thinking I'd

rather be in more control. Any Suggestions?

i have severe chronic pain. i have found the most rekief from Opana er. i believe that this is a morphine based pain med. i take percocet with it. i have been on tramadol er, embeda, and many others. with the chronic lyme that i have, i was also diagnosed with fibro, osteo arthritis, cfs, chronic insomnia, and major depression. i take a lot of meds and wasz very afraid when i had to start relying on much stronger pain meds. my husband and i were worried about me being a total zombie. but i had to do something, i was at the point were i could hardly walk. so far so good. opana has been the best for me. good luck.

If this pain med is not really sounding good to you, it's probably not. My body usually lets me know when it doesn't want something .... when I feel like you do where it's just not "feeling right", generally it doesn't work out for me.

I would tell your LLMD your concerns so that you can get a different med prescribed.
