I've been dealing with frequency, well, since having kids.
Now it's to the point where I'm having leakage when I laugh or cough, even right after having gone to the bathroom.
I was just sitting on the couch with my husband, and I laughed at something one of the kids did, and I wet my pants.
I had just gone to the bathroom not 5 minutes before, so what the heck?
Definitely going to have to mention it to the LLMD next week, but is there anything else I should be considering?
It doesn't burn or hurt when I go, so I'm not thinking infection (although who knows..).

That S****!! I would see a urologist. You may be helped with surgery.
What you have is called stress incontinence. ( no, I'm not a dr!! )

Interstitial cystitis could be the culprit. Some people have pain, some people just have frequency.
Hopefully it is just what tutu said. I have IC and it's not pretty.

No surgery. IC is said to be chlamydia pneumonia and you can post for help by others with your problems at cpnhelp.org.
Also it happens very often when people are on treatment for lyme and coinfections. I think you can save the time at the neurologist. If it is cpn and they look in your bladder your vessels will be very thick and inflated. Dr S also also shows this in his bartonella book as a picture.

So, if you have these symptoms badly (stress incontinence and urge incontinence), and you have Chlamydia Pneumonia, would a work-up by a urologist and surgery not be a good idea until you've had treatment for Chlamydia Pneumonia??
I understand the treatment can take years! And, while the treatment might help urge incontinence, it's hard to imagine that it would help stress incontinence, which is a mechanical/structural problem, plus weak ligaments, muscles, and loss of collagen. Anybody know about this??

I started having problems about 2 years ago. The continued to get worse. The problems were when I coughed, sneezed, or laughed. I started going to the bathroom every 20 minutes to try to keep my bladder empty, but that didn't help.
I do have CPN, but my titers are low, and I had the bladder issues all the time. So, I am not sure if they were related or not. I didn't know about this correlation.
I had surgery to lift my bladder. I am doing great now. Glad I did it.

I have the same problem, and don't have Cpn. It goes with lyme and babesia. It will improve with treatment.
Try D-Mannose, it helps with bladder issues.

I did that when I was very sick. Got worse in treatment -----When I had about 6 months of treatment it was gone.
But I do believe it can be many things that cause it.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I certainly hope I don't have to go the surgery route--no insurance right now, so that's out.
Would kegel exercises help?
Don't think Chlamydial Pneumonia has ever been suggested or tested for.

karenl- did Dr S show a pic of the bladder in his book?
Starfall- could be the pelvic floor dysfunction causing the symptoms too.
