we have wasps on the front porch. someone knocked there nest down. but they are just rebuilding.
anyone have a mcs (multiple chemical senstivities) safe way to get the wasps to leave. they are right by our door so we cant really just let them stay there.
thank you for any thoughts/suggestions/expereinces

Some ideas:
If you are ok with peppermint, try putting some peppermint oil in water, or use peppermint tea, in a spray bottle and spray where they are rebuilding their nest. Peppermint contains a neurotoxin that kills bees/wasps. Do this when it is cold outside (best is very early morning), so they're less likely to come after you.
Set up a high powered fan to blow directly on the nest site.
When it is cold outside (very early morning), go out and knock down the new nest. Keep doing this over and over, and they'll get the message and go elsewhere.
Put a few wasp traps somewhere else in the yard. You can get wasp bait at the hardware store, or just use a small piece of decaying meat. My DH does this in Spring when they're nosing around looking for nest sites under the eaves of our house, and it seems to discourage them from building their nests on our house.

I've been severely MCS for a long time, and I can handle Orange Guard. It's an essential oil from oranges and seems to just about deter/kill every bug/insect out there.
Orange Guard is sold in hardware and healthfood stores. Put a little bit in a spray bottle, fill with water, and spray.
i also use it as my tick repellent, spraying it on clothing, immediate environment and lightly mist/rub on dog/cat fur as a secondary protection.
