I am sure I was bit at the end of March. I showed signs 14 days later. Two weeks later tested pos. for Lymes. Dr. put me on 200 mgs for 6 weeks of Doxy. Off for 3 weeks now, and my joint pain is back. Both my GP and an infect. disease dr. told me it's a normal inflamatory response to the Lymes and will go away in time.
Not sure if they disease was truely killed or not.

You are now officially introduced to the whole Lyme controversy. The answer you got is one side of it while another group of doctors believes those symptoms are signs of continued infection.
I wouldn't take any chances and would get more abx and an LLMD. Leaving aside the whole question of which side is right, what is the risk of a few weeks or months of abx compared to the risk of a disabling condition without them?

Welcome to Lymenet, sorry you need to be here. Your doctors are wrong. You need more treatment .... 200 mg was too low a dosage to begin with. If you're having more symptoms, you need to find a Lyme specialist.
