I am so scared right now. I do not like what is happening to my body.
I woke up last night and my arm felt like it was on fire. Then when I lifted it up it was so numb and full of pins and needles. Is this normal for Lyme?
I am so scared that I have something else going on with me.
Also, does anybody else feel like there skin doesnt feel temperatures right? like right now I am sitting here and my right leg feels like there is ice on it and obviously there isnt
I HATE this. I am not on treatment yet because I dont see the doctor until monday. I feel like I am falling apart

Yes: it all sounds very familiar. Hopefully when you see your doctor - I am assuming he/she is Lyme Literate - you will be able to start effective treatment. I had terrible nerve pain - burning, tingling, crawling, feeling hot or cold - and almost all has resolved. It may take time: be patient.

Sounds extremely familiar. When I first began treatment, I had spent years sick and suffering from symptoms like that. It eventually subsided after a few years of treatment. Maybe it'll resolve quicker for you. I know others see faster progress.

jackie81, I sympathize with you and your fears. I have relapsed with my lyme and co-infections and feel like my entire body is burning, yet my temp is always 97-something. I also am having severe muscle pain.
psr1 -- did you ever go on IV's to get rid of your neuropathy, or did you beat it with just orals? I've been treated with orals for five years but recently relapsed.

Yes, I can relate to every symptom you mentioned, plus the others that were mentioned too. I have been undertreated for a long time, and have just ended an abx break (because of yeast), so my symptoms are full-on again. Body is totally misfiring. But I know it will be brought under control again.
Try to calm your fears. I know it can be difficult. But at least YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS, and a good LLMD will help you get through it. Try to comfort yourself the best you can. Best to you.

Yes, Jackie, I have experienced this too. Right now my knees are cold.
Last night I had my husband put one hand on my thigh and the other on my knee. He could not believe the difference. My thigh was very warm but my knee was very cold.
Sometimes it feels like there is water dripping down my legs. Sometimes my knees are hot. Sometimes they just ache, and sometimes they throb so bad I just have to cry.
