Or, the way I do it: One apple, chopped up in a small blender, letting it turn "brown" a couple of minutes to develop certain supporting enzymes, adding a spoon full of apple pectin with a bit of liquid, before you start your breakfast, will help you starting the day just fine.
And takes care of the first "binder" to wrap up departing neurotoxins.
(I have since bought many of these little Black & Decker blenders EHC 650 for under $20. and given them away as gifts. Dr. K. has already his third one, because whenever he moves, it disappears and he asks me for another one. I use this blender for chopping Daikons in seconds for a quick lunch salad, or fresh fruit with some whipping cream create the best desert in a minute! I use it at least twice a day. I use it for making my raw potato pancake dough - the same way adding a couple eggs as liquid for easier chopping. Makes a great quick meal!)
I may just do that tonight for dinner - with home made apple sauce from all the fallen apples last fall.
Take care.
