Non LLMD prescribed Biaxin as a first antibiotic for one week for 4 yr old bit by tick.
I thought amoxicillin was the first choice ...
Anyone have this one first?
Effective? Ineffective? Or?

Anyone have this as a first?
Or is it used for children as a first?

Hi, this wasn't the first one my 8 year old started with but she was switched to it after doxy took a toll on her stomach and the zith was having an ear reaction. She had been tolerating this med the best and has been on it for about three months now with no known problems.

You're so welcome, I'm always here to vent or discuss what's going on with our kids, just PM me. Having a child that's dealing with this especially if you are too is so horrible. We can lean on each other.

Many Blessings,
Penny (joahsark)
