Wait "Lyme" Rage is from Bart? Always? I know I have the Lyme rage. I use to tell my husband I didn't use to be so angry until I was with him-but it's not him-it's Lyme. He's an angry person too and I told him we just need to bite the bullet and have him tested as well. He shows a few minor symptoms but that's how it started for me.

Anyway I thought the "Lyme" rage was from Lyme. Oh geez, someone please explain!

While I'm not denying that "Lyme Rage" exists, I don't think it's the source of my rage. We are people whom the government has systematically tried to kill, and have every reason to be enraged.

We have a new group, coincidentally, on www.lymefriends.org called "Rage can be a symptom of lyme." Please feel free to come and join! We also have a Bartonella group.

Or maybe it's Babesia (see list below)? I don't know.

I was just thinking that when I started Rifampin and Zith for Bart treatment, I had 3 weeks of terrible depression, anger, anxiety, mood swings, and after that then things got much, much better. So I just assumed Bart, but of course Rifampin & Zith treats lyme as well.

And then there is this list...
http://www.truthaboutlymedisease.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=313

Bartonella
OCD behavior
Anxiety
Psychiatric problems
Rapid mood shifts

Babesia
Rage
Despair
Severe Neurological illness

LD Symptoms List
Depression
Irritability
Mood swings

i think going through a chronic illness can cause any sane person rage!

i've had a few crazy outbursts where i've thrown things, but it's always when i feel completely abandoned by doctors... or when loved ones say something super hurtful about my health because they just can't understand.

personally, i think if this disease doesn't make you angry sometimes, then you should be worried!
