I'm just starting Diflucan (fluconazole) twice daily and Minocycline twice daily.
Can they be taken at the same time of day or should they be spaced apart?
I could not find a specific answer when I did a search here.
Thanks!

Thanks janet!
I can't find any interactions between the 2 drugs, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Shouldn't matter. Usually best to take the "mino" with a bit o' (neutral) food though, as with all "cyclines", & not lay down for a bit.
I alwayns took the fluconazole seperately, but that's me.

I took it with tetracycline without issue.

I'm on both also, but only once a day for the Diflucan. I asked my LLMD about taking them together and he said it would be all right. Since I take the Diflucan once daily I am currently taking it away from the mino, but if it is increased I would take them together.

I have taken Diflucan with doxy without trouble (was told this was okay), but I get less nausea from the doxy if I take the doxy alone with just food. I usually take the doxy in the middle of the meal, and the Diflucan at the end.
