Anybody supplement with this?
Add it to their food?
Not the flaxseed oil... the ground up flaxseed.
I'm looking for a good brand (gluten free)

I take about one tablespoon of ground flaxseed each day. You can increase up to two Tbsp.
Just get some organic whole flaxseeds and grind it yourself as needed. The whole seeds keep very well for a long time, but the ground seeds deteriorate quickly.
You can grind the seeds in a coffee grinder or a VitaMix. I grind some and keep it in a container in the freezer and just spoon it out when I'm ready to use it -- in smoothies, sprinkled on food (after you cook it), or whatever.
