Lately our teenage son has been having a bad acne breakout. Has anyone experienced this with heavy metal detox? He is taking DMSA, and 2 Homeopathics called Toxex and OSR.
Does anyone have any suggestons on how to treat the acne? We have tried the store brand Pro Active without good results.
Thanks

I knew one person who drank a large glass of cucumber juice every morning and her acne went away. When my children become teens, that will be the first thing I try! Her mom would juice it for her every morning when she was a teen and she said it really worked.

Look into LED light therapy. The light transmits energy to the mitochondria in the cells, which then heal much faster.
Pharmaceutical quality fish oil. This improves cell wall integrity and reduces inflammation. The sebum plugs liquefy and it unblocks the pores.
Face Doctor soap and cream. This contains Seabuckthorn oil, which kills Demodex mites in the pores.
Amazon.com carries it, as does iHerb.com. Look at the reviews to see what other people think of it.

Thanks Zil; sometimes it pays to shell out a few extra bucks for the real thing.

Is you son taking any binders like chlorella or apple pectin or glycine for detoxing the metals and toxins? Otherwise he may just recirculate the toxins or move them out thru the skin versus the liver for elimination. sounds like a skin detox issue to me...Sometimes metals get stuck other places, causing hormonal or other dysregulations.

Yes, he is taking a homeopathic called Toxex ,which is a detoxing agent, by Pekana, and OSR for that purpose.
