Ok everyone so I have only been in treatment about 3 months

first 3 weeks herxed (brain fog, fatigue , muscle twitching)

next 3 weeks felt great no symptoms or herx

added flagyl herxed again 3 more weeks with increased muscle twitching plus brain fog , fatigue

then out of no where my original symptom comes back chest pains (similiar to pericarditis , and pain in arm and leg)

just when I thought I was making real progress

does this mean the treatment is not helping?

what are your thoughts on this?

chest pain has not been associated with my herxing

Paul

Hi,

IMO with chest pain you need to go to ER, just to make sure your heart is ok.
Hope everyhting is good and you feel better soon.

Check your heart ASAP.
I think to all patients in the bigining of treatment imune system is very very low and confused with all killed stuff, and thats a time when viruses show up and demage organs.
It is good for people taking antibiotics to take something to control the viruses to like monolaurin or OLE.

Take care

It might be something you want to get looked at.

I also get the chest pains and arm pains. I went

to the ER one day because I thought I was having

a heart attack, they rushed me in there and stuck

me with all kinds of needles and put in an IV

(that never even was used), did EKG, Xray, and

found nothing.

Now I don't go to the ER for chest pain either.

But sometimes I think I should. I mean we don't

know. It could cause more damage than we think

and I think we get too lax about things our

bodies are telling us because we just always say

it's the Lyme and friends.

I also have chest pain and severe leg pain/. The chest pain is new.. thought it was my heart so went to the LLMD. He said there is inflammation in my chest wall/ribs. Said that is a symptom of Lyme and Bart. I am relieved it wasn't my HEART.

What is your leg pain like? Mine is severe radiating leg pain starting in my hip/groin/butt area and radiating downward through my thigh. Feels like nerve pain, very severe.

Maybe this is a nerve pain, does it go under your arm too?
