While on doxycycline (day 2 for me) is it ok to take a probiotic like acidophilous to avoid yeast infection? Will that hurt power of the antibiotic?

- Good to see you're on the right page. Yes, in fact, you MUST take probiotics. But take them at opposite times, several hours away.
I also avoided systemic candida infection by taking the supplement, Olive Leaf Extract. That also needs to be taken hours away from Probiotics. -

Im concerned that your dr. didnt tell yiou you have to take them....is he/ she a lyme literate dr.? also dont take the acidopholis for a few hours before and after the antibiotics as they will kill the good bacteria youre trying to replenish.
