Take only what you need so that your stomach can heal faster.
Skelaxin is a muscle relaxer not an NSAID so it is not as hard on the stomach as something like Naproxen or Ibuprofen. Even still, I would avoid it if possible until you're feeling better.

- If you can tell that is it causing or contributing to gastritis, it seems a good decision to stop it. We really need the lining of our stomach.
Can you mix it with coconut oil and use as a transdermal approach? I don't know but you could ask your pharmacist if that would irritate your skin - and if it would be absorbed in a way that would work?
Have you tried DGL for the gastritis? (DGL is Deglycyrrhizinated licorice root extract) -

Don't know about the transdermal approach. I will have to ask about that.
I tried DGL before and could not tolerate the taste...simply horrible! I will try again though since stomach is so bad. What dosage should be taken and how often?
Thanks!
