My husband has been losing weight steadily for quite a while now; he's 6'1" and down to 142 pounds.
Yes, he has seen his doctor, yes he has been tested for umpteen things, including lyme (negative, of course)
Given tht I don't know how long I;ve been infected, given that some believe Lyme can be passed sexually, and given that he is the one who's outside in the yard, I'm not convinced he doesn't ahve it.
He doesn't seem to be showing any other sx, although since we;ve been married, he has had some blips that we couldn't explain--
shortly after we were married, he had some episodes of chest pain, and we did end up in the ER suspecting a heart attack--nothing found.
He gets episodes where, as he describes it, pain "flies into his side/chest" and makes him double over. Doc can't figure out what that is.
He has been having some concentration issues--a very OCD type person all of a sudden misplacing important papers, etc. We attributed that to stress when he was out of work for a year and a half.
I just keep trying to impress on him that he needs to see an LLMD (which will be hard since mine is no longer tzking new patients) or at least bite the bullet and get an IgeneX test done, but he refuses.

I had the weight loss first- even though I was eating tons of food.
Is he eating? Have you looked into Gluten sensitivities?

Yes, he eats as much as he can.
Yes, he's been tested for all kinds of things by his gastro.
Talking to him is like talking to a wall.

I see sx that he doesn't see, but I can't make him listen to reason. Even after he saw the heck I went through before and since being dx'ed he still insists that his only problem is weight loss.
