Hoosiers-Thanks for the PM. I did have a sleep study done last month. Unfortunately I only slept from 11pm until 1am. I don't have problems at home but woke up and then when couldn't get back to sleep the panic and anxiety started.
The sleep tech told me she didn't think there was enough data to come to any conclusions. My pcp called me a few weeks later and said the study showed no sleep apnea and that I had difficulty staying asleep.
Normally I sleep great..but the study was a different story.
My fatigue is more of a physical exhaustion than a need to sleep. My body becomes physically drained and I have to rest..never sleep. If I don't I feel as though I am going to collapse.
I have this every day no matter what I do or don't do. I still wake up totally unrefreshed and tired. It has destroyed my life basically.
I see the doctor in a few weeks and will get to see the actual study. My insurance won't pay for another unless I have a diagnosis of sleep apnea which now is unlikely.
I hope you have great success with the CPAP. I was almost hoping that was my problem too so I could get some relief and finally have an answer to this horrible problem.
I tried to PM you but your box was full! Kim
