Last weekend, for the first time in a decade I was able to get to Martha's Vineyard to hit the beach and cycle...today I pulled 2 ticks off me...
To make a long story short..I had lyme in 2006 and still am suffering from cognitive symptoms to this day...Now Im screwed
I was just starting to get all my physical coordination back..even though I still cannot understand conversation...mainly stories..still get lost from room to room..and have wierd visual perception like everything in being viewed from a View Master "
Also get startled from most noises...yadda yadda yadda...but today im horiffied...I pulled the ticks and found 1000mg of amoxy still in date and 200 doxy...I knock them down..I have been of all drugs for a year
Ive already had 40+ drugs since 06...so somehow i have to chill and deal....any ideas because im a little off balance at the moment...thanks...oh yeah ive had maybe 15 clear hrs since 06..thank God for that....sorry about the ramble but I t feels like "the Hatchet in the back of my Neck is back...

Were they attached??
Well, hopefully you can take care of this, since you found the ticks. BUT, call your LLMD right away to get on all the right meds at the right dosages for the right time length. And be followed up, of course.
I would make an emergency call if I were you (I did last year on Memorial Day when I got bitten again).
And watch out for Babesia, because usually docs don't give prophylactic tx for that, but that caused me a major relapse last year. So, maybe adding in some Artemsia, Mepron, or Zith for that. You need your LLMD on board ASAP.
Plus, from here on in, all the precautions are a MUST---permithrin sprayed on clothes ahead of time, repellant on skin (natural maybe), daily tick checks, hat, etc., etc. Permithrin is a HUGE help.
And, of course, no hiking on trails, etc. (I think anyway).

Did you get a bulls eye rash? Did you save the ticks? If it was me I would have the ticks sent to a lab.

Ticks were attatched.... Saved them...both bites have raised round white spot with red around them but not deinitive em rash...where do i send the ticks?
If one of these or both Show am EM rash i think i was to just hit the IV.......
I had prior to these bites doxy, plaquenel, ceftin, tetra clarithro, zithro....minocycline which made me halucinate and ended up in pysch ward....then couldnt sleep for 20 days...almost totally lost it.....so i never had a good blood brain barrier breaker antibiotic....cognitively im barely getting by...
