Dear Borrelia Buddies, I know at least one individual on here is in my state. Does anyone know what is covered and what is not? I figure I would still have to come up with the initial $490 plus travel and lodging fees to visit Dr. C in MO. The inability to raise the money so far is why I had to cancel two previously set appointments. A clinical diagnosis could provide me more assistance, but how to afford it is the trouble.
BC/BS is the insurance carrier here. They probably would not cover co-infection testing. It is about $600 or so. Due to my Western Blots being somewhat inconclusive, more definitive testing is required. Benefits take 45 days to begin, and I only signed up a couple of weeks ago.
