Just found another tick on me (that makes 2 since my initial bite in '07). I haven't even been out in the grass or out of the house anywhere)!!! It was on my back and itching. My mother-in-law removed it for me and now there is a pretty big welp there. The last one took me several weeks to go away. I cleaned it with peroxide and alcohol!

Now I'm scared to death to have another round of Lyme.

I go to my llmd this coming Tuesday. I guess that is good timing.

She flushed the tick down the toilet before I could get to her.

Sending up lots of prayers for nothing to happen with this one and lots of prayers for everyone to recover.

Call your LLMD on the emergency line to call in an rx for you ASAP (I would). Or, do you have doxy at home to start with until you see him/her? I wouldn't wait until Tues., even though it's soon, it's not soon enough.

Thx Rumigirl-

I don't have any Doxy at home and don't know an emergency line for my llmd.

The location of the tick bite is raised, red, very itchy and hurts on the inside and all around it. It also has a mark in the center.

I never used to have reactions like this to tick bites. I wonder if I'm more sensitive since contracting Lyme disease.

Scares me. Just praying that I don't get sicker or contract somehting like RMSF. I plan to call my llmd first thing tomorrow. I have to travel 5 hours tomorrow to see him at a Tuesday a.m appt.
