I am on my 3rd week of Doxycycline. My symptoms were 80% better. Some went away entirely for a week. Now they're coming back. I also noticed little red bumps all over my chest, kinda like prickly heat. (I'm female, so reaction to sun is not a possibility.) What the heck is going on?

Dido....I've been Doxy for about 5 days now, not my first time!
I was feeling prety good, (not good) before I started this agin. Been feeling worse since i stared 5 days ago.
Lets see what others say but, I hoping its a good sign that the Doxy is working???

LA... Are you taking liver support and are you detoxing the body. Maybe you are having a Herx. antibiotics are harsh on the liver and some support may be needed.
Maybe you can start out with lemon water, then start later on the other detox's.

Always try to get pic's of any new rashes. As some come and go and others stick around what seems like forever.
If it is non itchy it is probably a Lyme rash. And some think it is a good sign of an immune response.

my doc says that doxy can cause that kind of rash...don't forget that there are typically monthly flareups with lyme. You may just be entering into a temporary flare up. I go through this.. lasts for a few days... sometimes 4 or 5, then I feel better. Hang in there.
