Sorry to start another thread, but from what I'm hearing not just today but from the past as well is that I can't detox, I might have PKU, I might have this/that and the other.
So yes, I'm gonna try a Parasite cleanse as a few have PM'd me and suggested this.
But since I already know my Sympathetic nervous system is whacked out from the ANSAR test I had, should I get ART tested to find out exactly why ?
Is ART testing real ? Does it really pinpoint exactly what is wrong ? Why you can't detox ? Etc.
Thanks again everyone...

ART testing can show you what treatments would be beneficial so you don't have to do so much guesswork. I did use it some towards the end of treatment and found it to be a help. It is the way I found out about KPU, BUT there is a urine test that can/should be used to diagnose KPU.
It won't necessarily show why you can't detox, but it can show what will help vs. what won't help.

It seems like a 50/50% chance. Many here promote it as the best thing since sliced bread. Others say it's pure hooey. I have no idea. I have a real hard time buying it, but who am I? lol.

- For anyone who has problems with toxicity, it's good to read about all the porphyria types. While not all can be tested with urine, some can. --------

I think that it can be helpful but it is not perfect or fail proof. You still have to rely on the skills, experience, and knowledge of the practitioner. And there seem to be numerous types of ART and Biofeedback testing.
My ND uses a "Biofeedback stress-assessment analyzer". I was skeptical at first but it has proven to be accurate. Lab tests have confirmed the infections and hormone imbalances detected.
It is also useful in determining what supplements or medications you may need and things to avoid.
Gary, ask around at your local health food stores. They can help you find a reputable ND in your area.
Good luck

I say it's worth a shot. If it helps you figure some things out that would be fantastic. If not then at least you tried. I have been thinking about trying biofeedback and/or ART as well since I seem to be at a standstill with my treatment.
Let us know how it goes if you decide to try it.
Good Luck!

I never believed in this kind of testing, that is until I went and had it done and got treated based on the testing results. I finally started getting better after five years of deteriorating on abx. I was as skeptical as they come about this kind of testing, but how can I argue with the results? I'm doing better than I've been in years and continue to make progress with the protocol I'm on.
The kind of testing that my doctor did is Bio-Resonance Scanning (BRS). Here's a quote from below regarding the accuracy of this test, "At last review, the results of BRS diagnostic findings have been confirmed by blood tests about 86% of the time".
Bio-Resonance Scanning
Based on the realizations of the crystalline matrix and photonic (light) aspects of the body, Dr. Jernigan developed an adjunctive diagnostic and treatment technique that enables the healthcare professional to diagnose and treat dynamically, in real time, with the purpose of restoring optimal coherence of the body, mind and spirit. This technique is called Bio-Resonance Scanning (BRS).
The ultimate purpose of BRS is to identify specific frequencies of incoherence, from any source, in the tissue (pathology) and, using carryover resonance, identify the corrective remedy or modality (treatment) that will ultimately restore global coherence.
BRS utilizes a novel understanding of testing the body that does not rely on measuring the body's reactions to frequencies (a problem since the more degenerative the condition, the less reactive the organism becomes), such as in electro-dermal screening, nor does it rely on meridian testing.
BRS can be sequenced into frequency-sentences to obtain more specific information. It is registered by frequency matching and therefore is more objective in its findings. At last review, the results of BRS diagnostic findings have been confirmed by blood tests about 86% of the time.
The crystalline matrix carries or radiates the frequency created by the doctor/practitioner to the pathology in the body and back to the resonator, the actual photo-electrical-resonance detector.
BRS enables the doctor to determine highly specific information - not only the presence of a pathology, but its degree of priority for healing in the patient's body.

lyme twist i think this is the answer for you! find someone who is really good and see what your body can handle. you could try dr. K's (in kirkland washington) doctors. hard to get in to see him but his doctors use the same method and they are good. they see a lot of us folks. if you could get a idea where and what your system wants, it could save you money and most importantly pain and suffering. wishing you the best
