Hi Janice, My daughter and I use Cowden herbs for detox. Pinella, a brain detox, helps my daughter tremendously while she's treating for bart. She says it seems to calm her brain.
I love Burbur and parsley for detox. Burbur really helps herxing for me. I take it every ten minutes up to 3 hours per my llmd.

Hi, thanks. I have burbur and will try the pinella for brain detox.
Does it take a long time to notice any difference?
Thanks,Janice

My daughter notices a difference with Pinella in minutes. It hasn't had that effect on me.
Incidentally, she was on the full Cowden protocol at one time and Samento was extremely hard on her. She couldn't get past 3 drops, it made her so ill...but that was just her experience.

The LLMD I saw said teasal root, andrographis and cat's claw help with lyme but nothing works for bartonella.
I read Dr. S' book and it recommends cumanda, HH capsules and clove bud oil for bartonella in "extremely high doses". I was told by a few of his patients that he told them to use 20-25 HH capsules a day. I tried this when I could not tolerate the abx and relapsed.
I guess if you are using it in addition to abx, it might help.
You can take supplements to help break down the bio film. Nattokinase, lactoferrin and acetyl cysteine are supposed to help with this.
