I googled and searched lymenet--not much info.

Anyone have info on this blood test?
Is it an outmoded test?
Does it reflect die off?

If you've searched the archives, you've already seen everything that I know about it.

I don't think it is an outmoded test. It was very helpful to me because it indicated the need for intracellular detox.

According to what I've been told, numbers would go down with treatment. I was told that mine was so high because we were killing pathogens but the debri from the die off was not getting out of my cells.

I posted a link previously to a slide that indicated it might be related to a herx.

I was told to take Pekana detox remedies to get the debri out of my cells. It helped and I continue to take the remedies as long as we are killing pathogens.

From a quick search, I gather Pekana detox is a homeopathic remedy, yes?

Mine was elevated as well. My LLMD suggested that it may represent a herx reaction.

From the lymemd blog:

"C3d (Quest only) is a test for circulating immune complexes (CIC). These antibody/antigen complexes are not supposed to be present in our blood. The presence of these CICs indicates infection or inflammation and can be used as another indicator of disease activity."

Pretty vague.
