i wanted to ask u on which dosage did u do the babesia protocol with azi and mepron. i know the dosage of mepron, but how did u take azi? everyday? pulsed? 3 days on, 4 days off?? i have to take 3 days on (500mg/day) then 7 days off.. i think 7 days off is too much.. what do u think?

I have been on this combo since April. I take mepron twic a day and also 600mg of zith. My doc doesn't do the pulse method.
I'm not a doc and just stating my method that my doc uses.
Ive'heard of others pulsing but not with the mepron and zith.

I don't know if Mepron can work properly without taking the antibiotic daily. Although Zithromax stays in the body, I don't know if it would be a high enough concentration.
I never pulsed either of these meds. When I took Zithromax with Mepron, it was 1200 mg daily. More recently, I took Biaxin with Mepron and took both daily.
