I am seeing my primary dr on monday. She already had me do 1 month doxy 100mg 2x day.
Still no positive test but I am going to try to get her to give me another script. I,m feeling about 75% I know I need something more.
Any suggestions?

Personally, I doubt she will give you anything else. I would seek out an LLMD if you think yu have lyme.

Your test likely won't be positive for weeks after exposure. I'm sure you know you're on a very low dose of doxy. I would look for an LLMD if you suspect Lyme. You want to treat this early so you don't become chronic.

According to the treatment guidelines listed above, you want about 400 mg twice daily for a MONTH past the last symptom (if it's an early infection).

You need 400 mg/day for 3 months after you make a full recovery. This is critical, as it seems that if you don't nip this disease in the bud you may be eternally damned. Will pm
