I have Medicare and I think I am covered if I go to hospital for infusion but LLMD doesn't participate with my local hospitals, he is 2 hrs away. Has anyone done PICC with inhome infusions that has Medicare? Was anything covered?
Any help would be appreciated.
Been sick since 1994, diag. with Lyme 2008 - have done Orals for 2 years with slow improvement.

Wiggy~ Before trying IV antibiotics, I would get tested for various viruses like HHV-6, enterovirus, EBV to see if those are contributing to your illness.
I had IV antibiotics, and yes, it helped, but I relapsed when it was stopped. I've gotten better treating the viruses. It's less expensive and a lot less risky.
