New research shows that under the right conditions, the neurons in your brain can be replenished.
More importantly, the critical network of axons and dendrites, called neurites, which are the branches that comprise your neuron's communication network--can be rebuilt with the right help. ------------ I know we need a lot more research into these kinds of things in Lyme. But may be some help for those who experience extreme brain fog, esp. after treatments.
And that means that you can ensure lower declines in brain performance and reduced risk of forgetfulness and ``brain fog''... all thanks to the support of just a few key substances.1

I'm on my second month of Gotu Kola with no improvement in cognitive symptoms. I plan on adding the Acetyl L- Carnitine soon.
The NGF Neuron Growth Factors looks good at VRP as the article states but it's a bit pricey. But may be what is needed.
Thanks

I take Acetyl L Carnitine and believe it helps some as I am not quiet as daft as I was before.
Coconut oil is supposed to be very helpful too. I am trying to take 2 tablespoons a day. I put one in oatmeal in the morning and I make "brain candy" for my other portion. I heat 2 oz bitter baking chocolate with 1/4 cup honey until the chocolate is melted. I remove it from the heat and add half a cup of coconut oil, stirring until melted. Then add one cup of walnuts (omega 3) and pour into a pan to cool. Refrigerate to keep hard.

It is to die for Pinelady. I did not have candy for nearly three years and now I can have some that is actually good for me.
You can also melt the coconut oil and put it on popcorn. I have only been taking it a few days and feel better. Maybe it is just a good day but I am pretty chipper.
