I'm in the 3rd week of this new protocol. The first 2 days, I take, among other things, biacin and avelox.
A day nearly FREE from brainfog...OMG i had forgotten what it is like to have a normal brain! This has given me such a charge to keep going.
Also, nearly free from physical pain...well...just a wonderful "supergirl" kind of day

That is wonderful. I hope you continue to stay feeling so much better. I don't think I have heard of biacin. What is it for?

I'm now on day 3 of the 3rd week. I have been crying on and off all day... because I am feeling better!
This morning, I woke up and had NO SORE FEET! and, my hands and feet were not swollen....I can't believe it.
I know now that I have been sick for a loong time and just wrote the symptoms off to other things. My brain is coming back and my body... I am feeling alive again... life is coming back and I would pay someone a million dollars for this return to life!
Thank you for all of the support...keep the faith and don't ever give up hope.
I have no idea if this protocol is the real thing...but, it gives me something to guide me..

Supergirl...
A hint as you are now finally feeling great.
learn about binders here on lymenet...so you keep your supergirl powers! And continue to stay feeling great.
Binders will catch the die off that occurs with biaxin or other killing meds. Die off feels like lyme symptoms again. Can be confused with lyme symptoms...so you want to keep them all away! Candida/yeast and fungus develop from use of antibiotics which give brain fog symptoms!
A few to consider are cholestrymine(a script from a componding pharmacy so no fillers are in it)
OR chlorella (health food store), or apple pectin powder to add to your food...will catch some.
Charcoal is great...but will rob you of your minerals and vitamins if used regularly...

Please report back if you think this has "cured" your bart. That is you get off treatment for bart and do not relapse. I am so tempted to try one of the fluroquinolones (sp?) again but probably shouldn't. Maybe next year when all else has failed - and I am getting to that point that I don't know what else to try.
