I was eating my breakfast today and all of a suddenmy eyes went funny really "goggly eyed" ( if that makes sense)......lightheaded, slowed speech, felt a need to lie down......
lasted about 15-20 mins then gradually went away......
I did go lie down for about an hour.......
I am on my antibiotic week and had taken them about an hour before but never had any odd reaction to them.............
my neighbor checked my BP and that was fine......
any ideas???

I agree with PineLady, it rather sounds like a blood sugar issue...
A quick spike or a sudden drop (or, a quick spike followed by a sudden drop) can cause those symptoms.

If you have just been diag. with hashimoto's then you'll get this undercontrol with med's for that.
I had the same feeling with my thyroid problems.. that's why I asked about your thyroid.
Mine has gotten better... best wishes

Is it possible you could have had a seizure?

i had wondered about the seizure thing....I am taking seizure meds for seizure activity......I also wondered about a TIA.......as it came on so quick and left...............
as for hashimotos have known about that for over a year and am not on meds as my TSH is ok.....although he did say last week about putting me on something dependant on my labs as my thyroid felt bigger.........but am waiting on the ultasound and lab results......
