I haven't been able to get any sleep.

Skipped B12 shots and methylating supplements lately, because they were actually making my kidneys work too hard (Yes, I know, not a side effect you will find anywhere). I usually have loads of toxins/dark urine pouring out on a daily basis, but this was causing a bit of protein in my urine and there was no way to drink enough water so it wasn't so concentrated.

I think I am in a herx as well, and I feel extremely scared like the old times. Had pains migrating in body all night as well, but that's the least of my worries. Just finished my 8th week of IV Rocephin. I herxed on week 5 instead of 4, so it's weird that I herx on week 8. Can a cycle like this make sense?

I gave myself a B12 shot this morning (12.5 mg instead of 25), and I hope it brings me out of this without causing me to feel worse initially.

I do feel like I need urgent help, but I don't think anyone around here takes me seriously. I am so scared. I may sedate myself with a bunch of Ativan if things get worse as that is what a hospital would do for me anyway. I'm not supposed to do it, but I know in these situations, I need about a 4 mg large dose.

I know my body is on edge of completely freaking out. When it starts, I know from experience it can take many hours for it to stop. Psychological interventions don't help right now as thinking or sounds (and even being on the computer) is too stimulating.

I don't feel like I can relive this. If I went for help, I would be belittled by the medical community, but that's what my body is asking for. I've taken sublingual reduced glutathione to the point that inside of my mouth burns. It helps. If I asked for a bag of glutathione, I know they will ignore me.

I am sitting in tears. These are the only times I cry. I am so scared. Not scared about anything, just scared.

I can handle everything else. Just not this. It may not kill me, but it sure feels like it can. I've had sports injuries/trauma before, and it doesn't even compare.

Wondering if you have ever had a complete thyroid workup? Hubby used to complain about waking up at night and feeling like his eyes were bugging out (pupils dilated). He has had elevated antibodies to thyroid hormones at least once on bloodwork since being sick with lyme.

I did some reading and decided to try him on a very low dose of bugleweed. I give him 5 drops of the tincture 2 times per day and include that herb in his herbal sleep formula I concocted. The combo of the low dose bugleweed and lots of passionflower has helped him greatly with sleep and he doesn't complain about this symptom anymore. His LLMD neuro just did a complete thyroid eval again but we don't have the results back yet.

Hyperthyroid can cause tremors, heart palpitations and anxiety.

Bugleweed tincture is available from

http://www.elkmountainherbs.com

I have no financial interests in this company.

Have you asked your LLMD about skipping a couple of doses of the Rocephin? When hubby did that med the first time 7 years ago we only did it 6 days per week.

B12 shot and methylated supplements worked and I slept for many hours after taking it (Thank god).

Is it just toxicity and methylation issues (B12/Folate/P5P does detox me tons) or something like autonomic neuropathy? Cipro nearly did me in many months ago amplifying and creating CNS symptoms.

The pressure in my head is terrible though. Not a typical headache and not a migraine either. My jaw hurts. It has never been a symptom. Unrelated?

I am not hyper/hypo thyroid as far as I know (but new labs are pending). I only take Rocephin 3 days a week. However, I take nanosilver hydrosol every day which is very effective for me.

Oh, I did start serrapeptase a week or two ago. Perhaps the critters are having trouble hiding under fibrin now.

So sad to hear that we all have times like this. There seems to be no way around them, we have to go through them. I know it sounds simple, but don't forget to breathe deeply, and as often as possible. Exhale completely and fully, then bring new air in deeply. Oxygen is healing. We cannot live without it. I know this is not the solution for everything (far from it), but it is helpful, healing and calming. Wishing you well, Tammy

Kday,

Your symtoms sound exactly like mine in the beginning of my treatment. The head pressure felt like my brain was being pushed into my head and there wasn't enough room.

I had jaw problems also. One day I could barely open it. I went to TMJ specialists and they put me on migraine meds. Helped somewhat, but the side effect (dry mouth were unbearable) TMJ went away by itself.

You will get through this. I know the anxiety can be crippling. There were many days I thought just ending it would be easier. But I am so glad that I didn't. Each day brings new things-good and bad- and you just have to push yourself through.

Do you have a support network? I have a good friend who had lyme as bad as me so she became my angel. She understood everything I was going through. Also, I prayed ALOT, and still do. Even if you are not religious something spritual usually helps alittle.

Hugs and Prayers- You will through this!!!!

Hyperthyroidism here only after tick bite. Anxiety out of nowhere. Treatment for the hyperthyroidism totally helps the anxiety. Worth seeing an endocrinologist.

Anxiety is part of my herxes.
My LLMD and my neurologist prescribed clonazepam
Both of them sugested that I take it daily, but I try to push through symptoms as much as posible and when it gets too hard I take half of tablet. It helps.
I don't take it on regular basis because I want to be able to track my symptoms and I dont want to get hooked on clonazepam.
