Anyone else have this? They are putting me on two more medications in addition to Doxy - azithromycin and mephron. I'm scared of this disease and also scared of all the medication and just want some input. Thanks!

Which lab and test came back positive? BTW, it's Mepron, not Mephron. We know what you're talking about though.

You MUST kill out babesia if you hope to get rid of Lyme. Having Babs can make it harder to get over the Lyme, so it is a battle.
Do whatever it takes to get your life back!

You have been give the proper 2 medications for babesiosis. Everyone I know with lyme disease also has babesiosis and bartonella. So, you are just average.
Lyme docs are used to treating us for all 3 diseases. No need to fret.
I had all 3 and I got rid of them over 5 years ago now. That can be you too.

Thanks everyone. I was freaking out. Seekhelp, the test that came back positive was the Babesia Microti Antibody Panel. And, sixgoofykids, I will NEVER miss the taste of Mepron. Yuk! Is there a reason it has to be bright yellow and thick like paint??? And TF, I am far from average. hee hee.
