I've been treating for over a year and a half. Currently on bicillin IM, Mepron and zith.

My neck pain has been almost unbearable lately. It was one of my major symptoms at the beginning and only came back one other time (as I recall).

Is neck pain attributed to a specific infection?

I also started withmnight sweats again last night. My joints feel inflames a bit but it is most noticeable in my palms and soles of feet.

I dont know what to think of it. Just the cycle? Something else?

I had really bad neck pain and finally found a chiropractor who used muscle testing to guide the adjustments, within 3 sessions i was virtually pain free. I go back for matientnce

My pain was like a harsh pressure, and would effect my jaw and face, and shoulders, maybe you could look into something like that for relief

My neck pain comes and goes with treatment. I've been treating for years.

I'll get it for months at a time, then nothing.

My llmd/dr thinks it's a form of herx. My neck pain will come on evenings/nighttime, but I take my meds with evening meal. Hours later, my neck is stiff and hurting.

Lyme, Babs, Fry Bug..... Whatever it is, may a treatment be discovered to make us all whole again!

I had major neck pain within two weeks of my last tick bite. It felt like my neck was in a vise. LLNP thought that was when I got babs. Mine resembles Hadlyme's now (comes and goes, herx, comes in evenings and night time).

I was able to get rid of mine twice already and the last time better than the first. All so it can come back.

I just traded Biaxin for Bacillin LA, Nystatin, Daraprin & Crypto.

Borrelia moves fast to environmental conditions. For me it literally feels like they migrated from my blood cells, where I saw them via microscopy all to my head and neck.

I have the neck cracking and throat tighness again. I feel like my trachea is withering away.

Hubby has the constant neck grinding. It never goes away. Also the throat tightness. He says that if these were alleviated, he would feel decent. Not well but decent.

Neck pain came back when I stopped abx for a week because of GI problem.

Other symptoms returned after switching to orals after IV stopped.
