Before starting treatment with my LLMD,I was given Omnicef for 10 days for strep throat. On day 10, I had what I could only consider a "herx". Stomach upset, feeling spaced out, tremors, twitching, felt like a bunch of stuff was dying off.

I have this written in my notes for my LLMD but he has kind've just glossed over it. I will push harder on my next visit for his opinion.

Has anyone used this with success, and if so,in combination with??

My son took Omnicef with Zithromax and Biaxin. It seemed to be a good combo for him.

I am taking Omnicef and Lariam (for Babesia). Nothing else for now because we are going to test for Lyme through Igenex in a couple of weeks.

I imagine that once I get through this initial dosing of Omnicef, my LLMD will add more to the regimen. She's been excellent with our son.

I took Omnicef, Ketek, and Tindamax to cover all 3 forms of Lyme.

When I had a positive babs test, we switched it to Omnicef, Ketek then zith, and Mepron.
