Did you have a visual field "plaquenil" exam before starting the drug?
I had the test and you look into the view finder like a regular eye exam, and press a button every time you see small flashes of light.
They move them all over the screen and record when you press the button showing when you see them.
I would for sure have it checked out.

Melissa,
I heard flashing lights can be dangerous. Check it out immediately.
I was on plaquenil only for days and had trouble, got a cotton wool spot, which is white stuff on the eye. Never went away. I also had problems with blurred vision ... and more
I personally would stop the plaquenil for now.
