Seems like many lymies don't know that Lyme can give you a heart attack. I didn't know I had lyme cardis until I started taking ceftriaxone and my chest pains went away.

Before I was diagnosed I went to the ER twice because I thought I was having a heart attack. Boy, am I glad that's behind me.

Yep- I still have those symptoms since I've had to stop treating. I am hoping that once I start treating again they will stop.

The tick bite transmitted Lyme disease is one of the most common antropozoonosis, about 10 000 new infections are reported in Hungary each year.

Here a young male experienced acute atrioventricular block in chronic Lyme disease.

Based on the tick-bites mentioned a few weeks prior to hospital admission, Lyme carditis was considered with the administration of antibiotics.
