Since I know we are all looking for things that help us and don't make things worse I want to write about raw garlic. I was reading an article on the canlyme.com website and this man had posted what was not beneficial, somewhat beneficial, and very beneficial to him. Since his very beneficials were the same as mine being IV Rocephin and Zithromycin I decided to give his 4-8 raw cloves of garlic a day recommendation a try.
I want to add I have lived on Diflucan for almost three years because the yeast/fungus has been such a big issue for me. I believe Dr. K when he says Diflucan is an immune modulator because I always get a slight fever after taking but my liver needs a break. So I have been peeling, chewing and eating raw garlic cloves throughout the day and yes they have helped. I only take Diflucan about once a week now. This is huge for me because it has also helped my constipation issue. I could hardly use the bathroom before the Diflucan.
I have read that the garlic interferes with the growth of the hyphae that the yeast grows to spread. I am finding this to be true. I had serious root like growths and actually had surgery to separate my uterus from other things and it was root like growths not endometriosis. I know we write alot of very personal info on this site but if it helps just one of you I don't care. I can tell the garlic is helping me and I hope it helps someone else.

Great post.
And, my lyme doc had me eat raw garlic twice per day (or Kyolic) to boost the immune system.
So, garlic is a good food for lymies for many reasons.
