I've been sick for years and can't tolerate most antibiotics, except a couple in low doses. My doctor suggested I try Cowden's products but it looks really expensive. It looks like someone is selling them on Ebay for a lot less than other sites. It seems like for some it works and others not so much. For those it worked for, how long was it before you noticed it was working?
I also tested positive for Babesia, Wa1 and Mepron helped a lot and I had a negative Fry smear. My doctor is the one who believes Borrelia is the gateway pathogen and once that is treated successfully the others will be easier to treat even though I got a lot better on Mepron before plateauing. I also tried Rife and Buhner's herbs without any help.

I was stable feeling good when I started. I didn't herx as I ramped up. I tolerated them well and got to the max. doses. I stayed on them for over a year until I noticed I was slipping again.
I didn't do full Cowden. Just the Samento/parsley rotating the Banderol and cumanda. Sometimes I would take the burbur. I was doing the imprinted version half way through and was thrilled that maybe I could stay that way but it didn't last.

My entire family is taking Nutramedix herbs along with GSE. I think it is helping my 3 children (6 months into it) and it is too early to tell if it is helping my husband (only 2 months in). It is helping me, but my case is not too bad.
We all herx on the herbs. We take Samento, Cumanda, Enula and Burbur, along with GSE. 10 drops twice daily of everything for the adults. We also take Morningstar Minerals Energy Boost to help our low minerals and amino acids. I think the key is to hit all of the infections at once. That protocol seems to do it, according to the electrodermal screening we have done. It also can hit viruses and candida.
Oh- she also recommends Nutramedix Zeolite - 2 capsules on Wed and Sun nights for heavy metals. And she does homeopathic remedies for EBV and CMV if those viruses are found.

I believe it beat back my infections for a time, but did not kill anything. I never felt very good on it and wish I had my money back that I spent on it.

Its very expensive, and I relapsed on it. I first took abx, and started feeling great. I moved on to cowden, and completely relapsed.

Gosh it sounds like mixed reviews on this protocol. I hate to read that people relapsed on this, how discouraging:( I'm wondering if it would be better just taking singular bottles from Nutramedix, this way I'll know if it's *that* one product that helps or not. My doctor has had good results with some of his patients and since EBAY has great prices I won't feel so poor if it doesn't help. I'll have to decide which product to buy though, there are sooo many. thanks everyone for your responses.

If you have to chose from Nutramedix, I think the very best ones are Samento, Cumanda and Enula. Burbur is used for detox, so that's important too.
Last year my husband tried Cowden taking Samento and Banderol only and started backsliding. Then he went back to abx for awhile until he recently started herbs again. He is not backsliding on the protocol I listed above.

I liked various herbs, but Cowden alone was not enough. I worsened and I was on the full protocol.
Some of the individual herbs did help.
