Anyone taking this that has a reaction to none gold jewelry? I've never been tested for a metal allergy but I know I can't wear anything except gold, either white or yellow without getting a rash.

I'm suppose to start taking 3 tbsp a day of Mesosilver, I've taken 1 tbsp for 2 days and I've been ok but I'm a little concerned.

Thanks.

I would not increase very fast. I would stay at the dose you are at for a week or two and then increase very slowly, backing back down if you need to do so.

Long before I ever heard of silver, I had reactions to metal jewelry. About the same time I first go very ill with what they thought was mono (but I had what later I learned were bartonella rashes).

I'm not sure it has anything to do with the silver, precisely, but our bodies go through lots of strange changes. I just gave up wearing jewelry altogether as it just annoys me so.

Before I gave it up, I could only wear pure 14 k gold, no other metals.

Rather than be tested for a metal allergy, per se, have you been tested for heavy metals. My guess is that as the lyme + co. dies off, since heavy metals are released, your body has a stronger reaction to metals on your body, especially any with nickel in it.

People are usually allergic to sterling silver, not silver. As I hear it, a silver allergy is very, very rare.

You can test for an allergy by applying a few drops to your skin.

I totally misinterpreted your question. I thought you were concerned about jewelry and I figured it's easy enough to just not wear it.

I see - you are concerned because since you can't wear silver, that you might be allergic to silver and taking it internally could create a problem.

What we think of as silver jewelry is often not really silver, it's white gold and it is an alloy of several metals. Even silver is not always pure silver. We often react to the other things in it.

Ahhh. We have some silver inside of anyway, we need tract amounts. Still, I see your concern. You might want to research further. I'm sure someone who's studied this has written about this question.

Thank you all for your responses, I took it for several days and even increased to 2 times a day with no reaction I did test my skin first as well.

It seemed to be ok but I stopped taking everything now because of severe sever anxiety that I Just cant seem to shake! I'm going to post a new topic to get some opinions on that.

Thanks!!!
