I took a few years of Doxy, Minocin, Zith, Bicillin shots, Rifampin and Cipro (all in different combos) and have good energy now.
My remaining symptoms that wax and wane are these:
1. Flushing with a slight sweaty feeling that comes and goes. Like I suddenly get too hot. Not drenching sweats, more like a sticky sweat. Sometimes get nausea with this.
2. Sticky night sweats that come and go. 3. Twitching. 4. Sensitive glands in neck and under arms that come and go. 5. Gas with sweets, alcohol. 6. Line down center of tongue that comes and goes (like a fungus). Especially when I am run down. 7. Occasional nausea. 8. Twitching comes and goes. 9. Irregular heartbeats related to digestion and also when laying on my left side. PSVT, SVT. 10. Constipation. 11. Occasional episodes of air hunger (rare). Like I suddenly have a smothering feeling. 12. Occasional shooting pain on bottom of feet and occasional cramping in calves.
Otherwise, I can work out again and put my weight back on.
Any ideas on what co-infections I might still have? Never treated Babesia, but it seems no one gets cured taking their babesia meds. Took babs herbs at one time. Possible Bart. The flushing could be Lyme? Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hey, I get the flushing. Check out my post regarding the same issue.
I get a little hot too. No fever though.
What time of the day does yours occur? Mine is usually afternoon. It lasts twenty minutes or so.
Look forward to everyones response.

My guess is bart and parasites and possibly babs.
Why not see if you herx on some babs herbs? I would definitely take Caprasite or some other parasite herb. That might help the digestion. It sure does with me.

Low magnesium causes twitching and cramping and cardiac irregularities.

Sounds like a combo of Bart and Babs.

I have many of your same symptoms. LLMD thinks babs but nothing seems to hit it. Need to try larium next.

Taking Magnesium. The irregular heartbeat is related to digestion, swallowing, positional change. Like something inflamed down there triggers it. Who knows. Scary. Heart tests are normal. Something digestive triggering it. I will try DGL before meals. If that does not work, then an acid blocker to see if that stops it.
Did all the parasite herbs, even Alinia. Did not touch it.
Need to try treating babs. There is no pattern to the flushing. Can happen any time of day. Especially if it is hot, or if I am in a crowded setting. Could be autonomic disturbance.
The sticky night sweats could be Babs, but on the other hand, I thought sticky sweats were more Bart. As are GI problems.
Lots of Gas.

Sounds like candida is likely part of the picture. Might actually account for most of your symptoms.
Seems like an LLMD would be able to help you sort this out. Some testing might be in order although the testing for many of the issues mentioned in this thread is not always accurate.

Candida and magnesium deficiency.
Oral magnesium will not restore levels to normal when you're deficient. Your body cannot absorb enough and most ends up in the bathroom. Have you done Mag IV's and/or IM?
