More blood work!
Winchester Hospital Lab -- Winchester, MA

result Range Unit Comment
My PLT was (220) 150-400 x1000ul Delta
MCV (96) 80-95 UM3 High
MONO% (9) 1-8 % High

What does Delta mean???

MCV - MONO only off a point, any thoughts

high MCV could mean vitamin deficiency such as
B12 or Folate, could also mean your body is turning out more red blood cells than it normally does including some immature RBC's known as reticulocytes. They are larger than mature red blood cells and would cause the MCV
mean corpuscular volume to be greater than normal.

I did a seach on - platelet delta - I still don't understand what it means when they flaged it for delta?

Any help? Thanks!

It could be a delta check- done to confirm a result.
