Has anyone been misdiagnosed with Crohn's Disease and later found it was Lyme? I asked in my misdiagnosed blog post but someone suggested I make a new post about Crohn's specifically.

I am sure it has happened, but it might be Crohn's induced by Lyme suppressing the immune system.
It seems that several autoimmune type diseases come around, once Lyme gets well established.
I just have Crohn's, but no Lyme.

Well my friend's mom has had "Crohns" and psoriasis (spell??) for years...but she has a lot of other unexplained symptoms, that don't really fit either diagnosis.
She also has a serious temper, but not all the time. It sounds more like Lyme rage to me than anything else. of course there are more symptoms.
she gets a lot of widespread pain, back spasms, umm...shoot, I can't remember (haha, I just *love* Lyme).
Anyway. Her daughter, my friend, also has like over 20 of the listed symptoms of Lyme. And I'm thinking the mom had it when she was pregnant and passed it to her children.
There's also some women issues that Lyme likes to cause. That's why I was trying to make the connection.
I have read before that Crohn's and psoriasis among a gazillion other things can be misdiagnosed lyme so I'm just trying to get them some answers.
Right now...I forgot what I was going to say....anyway just looks for experiences.
