If you have, due to your tick bourne disease, had significant arm pain, which has primarily been in one arm or the other, please provide the following;

1) which arm?
2) how long did it last, was it intermittent, constant?
3) what was the nature of the pain; burning, crushing, etc.?
4) what's your hypothesis on the cause; I mean do you attribute it to Lyme, Bart, babs, herxing?
5) what antibiotics were/are you on and what effect if any do you feel it had on your arm pain?

1) left arm
2) intermittent, episodes separated by many months at times, lasting for weeks or months at a time
3) combination of burning and pain, radiating down from trapezius through tricep and/or pectoral and down arm, especially intense burning at elbow
4) coincides with burning in left eye, and at times pain in bottoms of feet so I attribute it to bart
5) 2 weeks after starting Rifampin 8 months ago, the arm really was problematic, pain subsided after a couple of months, returned six months later but less severe

1) Left
2) Still bother me to this day after over a year...almost constant
3) Deep tooth ache like pain, some burning, some crushing
4) I say Bartonella because friend's have responded well to Rifampin.
5) Nothing has had an impact on the pain. Currently I am on Rifampin/Ceftin and we'll see. [Frown]

Good friend of mine had hellish left arm pain that lastet three years! Went away on IV abx. Not sure which ones.

3. I believe it is bartonella.
4. Not sure what abx is helping a little...still have those pains...just not as constant.

1) Mostly the left arm; in the elbow, but has slowly spread up & down my arm. Called 'tennis elbow' tendonitis by me LLPA. Now in my right elbow/arm area, slowly progressing.
2)It's lasted since early July. Started as one baby stab, slowly increasing & moving outward. Mostly constant.........with few days lessened.
3)First sign was slight 'grating' feeling in the elbow, an oddness, strange sensation. Then the little 'stab'...then spread out more. Then pain all the way though the elbow into the fold, like in it. Then sharp stabs shooting up my arm on the outside, intermittently. Then the dull aching going down to my wrists. Now my wrists weakening, sore. Plus, starting in the right arm now.
4) I'm assuming it's from Lyme. I was very very early stage, only got it in May of this year. Treatment started in early July. Never had symptoms like it before in my life until Lyme. Changed nothing, did not strain it, but continued to work out on light resistance units to promote flexibility & help muscle mass.
4) I've been on Doxy & Flagyl, 4 days Dox, 3 days Flag. That's it.

This is the ONLY symptom I have left. I feel completely well now, sleep great (Lexapro & Cerofolin for anxiety). Energy good. Just this dang pain!!! I'm wearing a brace on it but it doesn't help much. I'm seeing an Ortho doc in a few days to see what else I could do. My LLPA says he just doesn't know.

My daughter had that pain until recently. It was in her right arm near her shoulder and got worse at night.

It's been gone all week now due to Babesia treatment. Mepron, Biaxin and Tinidazole. Pulsing art.
