- I did. It's not the end-all be all and most of us do not need this test to know we have problems from lyme.
I had this done locally by a regular eye doctor. It was fine, showed no problems.
But, when I traveled thousands of miles to see this doctor he told me that the VCS test is not always as sensitive - he had a different type in his office and I forget what that showed.
With my symptoms, my test history, and what the doctor could SEE in my physical presentation, he said that I was clearly about the second worse patient he'd seen.
I wonder if the fact that I have always taken lots of antioxidants may have caused the VCS test to not register for me.
I admire all the work that doctor has done regarding mold toxins and that VSC test may be helpful for some - but most of don't need it. We already know. Our bodies have already given us the information regarding neurotoxins.
Anyone who has lyme also has issues with neurotoxins. There is no way to escape that but many ways to modulate the effects, even during anti-infective treatment.
Liver support and Antioxidants are ESSENTIAL, IMO (but, at that time, this doctor was NOT at all in favor of ANY supplements, especially herbal supplements. Not sure if that is still his opinion, though). -

Glad to know I'm not the only one who has cognative symptoms yet passes this test with flying colors...
Personally, I think the test only works if the toxins are messing with a specific part of the brain. No one single test can test all the different parts of the brain that can be affected by Lyme...
SPECT scanning is probably the closest thing, but even that may miss something important. Symptoms are probably the best indicator of brain involvement, and no test is needed for those...
The above is my opinion only - I am not a doctor.
