My legs and ankles are swollen and have been for some time. Our pain doc suggests I enroll in a lymphedema clinic for therapy. That would entail much time, travel and hassle.
We do wrap my legs at night and try to keep them elevated. But improvement is minimal. They continue to hurt and limit my activity. Elastic stockings just roll down.
I wonder if I simply need to wait until the antibiotics work. Bicillin and Biaxin are not making the great progress I expected.

Joalo..you can be sick that long with lyme? I am just asking cause I have been having problems with dizziness and had bells palsy at the age of 19 since 1979. We spent our childhood upstate laying in the woods and making tents. Now I was bitten twice in three years with lyme ticks but the doc never treated me..said the titer was negative? I have gone down hill the last year and now out of work for 5 months the off balance and strange head sensations are so bad I cant go out to shop, drive or even walk? I developed arthritis in both knees last year and now finger hurt all the time. Did you experience any of these? I am considering going to an LLMD as someone suggested. THe ENTs cant find the ear issue saying it is menieres disease but there has to be more..I have too many things happening at once in the last year...thanx Ann
