So I just noticed this rash on my back. There are a bunch of red bumps and spots all over looking just like acne, although it is not acne. Is this rash common from Lyme?

I have been suspecting Bartonella due to the fact my brain fog and nuerological symptoms were among the first symptoms I had. Has anyone with Bartonella had this rash? Or does anyone have any thoughts about what it could be?

there is something that people with Lyme can get called ACA rash. Google it. I had a weird rash on my back and it was actually biopsied FOR "ACA"- dermo said he had read about them, but never actually saw one.
Interesting thing is...it came back neg.

I googled it and that does not seem to be what I have. It just looks like acne on my back but it is defnitiely not acne.

Could this be a rash caused by Bartonella? I know the typical Bartonella rash is the strech marks but maybe another coinfection could cause this type of rash?

I don't have a photo it just looks like about 20-25 small pimple looking red splotches across my back, a few of them are on my arm as well.

Could this rash be a sign of a coinfection? Or am I just making too much of nothing?

You need someone to take a few photos and show your LLMD. This is really important so that you have physical proof to further help with diagnosis.

It could be the liver pushing out toxins which is highly likely. When the liver is overwhelmed, the skin will often present with rashes, dryness, etc. The skin is a very large detox organ. You may need better liver support.

- or it could be a sign of lyme or Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Other tick borne infections have certain rashes, sometimes. It's hard to know without seeing but, really, at least a photo should get to your LLMD. You may be able to email one.

Be sure to have it taken in good light.

Then, if it seems to not be a sign of infection, you may want to reassess your liver and kidney support. You may also consider assessing/treating heavy metals that may be coming out as lyme dies off and releases heavy metals that were bound by lyme.

Lyme Disease - Introduction to Symptoms, Diagnosis and Treatment

Lyme Disease; Comprehensive overview covers symptoms, treatment, diagnosis and prevention of this tick-borne illness.

The Lyme rash starts a few days or even several weeks after the bite and then expands over a period of days to several inches across, perhaps with a central clearing.

Untreated, it can last for weeks before fading, or it may fade and recur.

The rash may have an irregular shape, blisters or a scabby appearance. Some rashes have a bruise-like appearance. Lyme rashes can mimic spider bite, ringworm, or cellulitis.

Multiple, so-called satellite rashes may appear on different parts of the body. If you develop a rash, take a photo of it and see a doctor as soon as possible.
