I've had pressure in my head for a couple of months. I can't believe some of you have had headaches for years! I pray that treatment will cure you of the headaches.

my husband has had eye pain and headaches since 2002...the pain is in the middle of his head behind his eyes...found out he had Lyme in Oct of 06...
he has been in treatment now since then...just in the last few mts his eye pain is going away.. but the headaches are still bad...from 1 to 10 they are usually 12 or 14...no kidding....
but we are hopeful and praying that things will change...he starting to want to do more...just little things...like taking out the trash...
so i'll take any little steps and pray for more... Madge

The enzymes sound like a good idea to reduce inflammation, as being inflamed can make our bodies overreactive.
Getting adjusted by a chiro that uses a ProAdjuster machine to assess + then adjust your spine may also be helpful.
No twisting, turning, snapping, cracking etc.
You sit in a regular way while you get worked on with the machine. As chiro since 1989 I found this way is the best for getting results with headaches.
Google for the ProAdjuster site then search for practitioners near you.
You may also want to explore CranioSacral technique. Google that - a no force technique done by chiros, PTs, MTs that might really help.

1 1/2 years constant. Puerarin (a chinese herb) from HepaPro and it was gone in a week and has stayed gone. I still take the puerarin when I feel one coming on but it is magic stuff. Life is sure different when your head doesn't hurt.

Ahhh...puerarin is found in Kudzu root. For some people, this stops cluster headaches.

My daughter was recently diagnosed with Chronic Daily Persistent Headache (CDPH) by a neurologist who doesn't believe it is Lyme.

I had a constant headache for about 3 months, ranging in severity. Then, one day it just went away and hasn't returned since. This was actually before I even started treatment.

I was diagnosed with NDPH by a leading researcher in the field, constant pressure, pain and dizziness since 2006. Thankfully I didn't go forward with the newest trial protocol for NDPH which is steroid injections directly into the spinal column. Interesting that another protocol for this that some people get relief from is minocycline with singulair. Hmmmmm, bacterial connection?
I can take all my other pain symptoms combined, but this head thing makes life extremely hard to live. Praying for all of us to find the answer.

I had daily headache pain for over 5 years. What stopped it for me was near-elimination of dietary vitamin D and avoidance of light exposure.

When I was in high school and shortly after I had been bit by the tick, I had a headache pretty much my entire high school career. I thought I had a brain tumor it was very scary. I went to the doctor and all she did was tell me to take 4 Ibuprofen.... seriously.

My sons (19 & 23) have had constant, severe headaches for over 10 years. Lumbar punctures were the only thing that reduced their headaches.
They have Lyme, co-infections, and pseudo-tumor cerebri. They had shunts put in almost 2 years ago. Jordan (19) went from a 10 down to a 6 and Jake went down from a 10 to a 8.
They have had long-term antibiotics and many other therapies.
We recently found out they have chronic strep and they are having surgery to remove their tonsils and adenoids.
I'm really hoping this will improve their health.

My daughter has had her ongoing 24/7 headache since July 2008--she has tried chiropractic, craniosacral, acupuncture, massage, homeopathy--nothing has helped.
LLMD says it is usually the last symptom to go--sigh!
I may order the above-mentioned Puerarin from HepaPro.

I have had a headache for about 3 years straight now. It started in the early summer of 2007 with a migraine, only the second migraine of my life. I've had a daily constant headache since that ebbs and flows between a 5 and a 10.
I only recently got diagnosed with Lyme's after 3 years of symptoms. I just began treatment this week...I'm really hoping it will eventually alleviate the headache to some degree. I was glad to find this thread to see I am not alone and that this is a common problem with chronic Lyme's sufferers.

My daughter has had constant 24/7 head pressure since March 2007. She was diagnosed with Lyme and co's later in 2007. He head pressure is mostly on the left side of her head. She says it feels like and elephant is stepping on the side of her head.
IV Rocephin took the headache away for a month but it returned and never went away again no matter what treatment she did.
She had to quit college and work several years back because of the head pain.
Good luck to all of you suffering from this. It's sad what it does to people's lives.

I've had horrible migraines for decades--anywhere from 2-3 per week to every day. But not continual without end. But I've done LOTS to get rid of them over the many, many years---much of which didn't work, some of which does help some.

Oh my goodness....you poor people. I don't have this, but I sure can empathize. I am so sorry.....
Just a thought, I'm sure you have tried everything, but have you considered the dental connection? I've heard amazing stories of when people finally went to a biological dentist many of their ills finally started to leave (headaches, migraines , tmj, chronic ear pain, even lyme, etc.) Just a thought.....

Around the summer of '95, give or take (I think). I had a headache the whole summer. It was brutally hot and humid and I had a migraine that came one day and never left. It was the worst in the afternoons. I had to lie on the cool wood floor, shades drawn, eyes closed, silent, trying to sleep until the intensity passed.
I lived on NSAIDs and other pain pills all summer. Then, when fall came, the headaches left suddenly and never came back, except sporadically.

Several (5?) months, as I recall, in 1977-1978. Continuous. All throughout the upper part (cerebellum?). Worse in the evening. Turns out it was an allergic reaction to something (sulphites? likely.) in a favorite dry white wine I USED to drink.
Just one-half glass would trigger a recurrence lasting a week. :-(~ I avoid that variety now, & all others like it. Never had the issue again.
Next longest? Over 3 months, on & off, in 2006. In the back, towards the base. T'was the Lyme!... or, more correctly, getting over it. Things improved as treatment progressed.{Phew!}

Over two years. Driving me to think I had a brain tumour. And leading to my lyme diagnosis fortunately. Treatment for lyme and babesia fixed it, slowly.
