I was talking to a friend on the phone today about my recent problem with hemorrhoids.
I indicated that I've been eating a lot of fiber, keeping things soft, avoiding straining, etc., yet my problem has persisted.
He said that hemorrhoids can often be caused by liver stress. Standard blood tests don't indicate a problem with my liver per se, but I know that Lyme patients do a lot of detoxing which stresses the liver.
I'm wondering if anyone out there has done liver cleanses that are effective yet gentle. I read about the Hulda Clark liver cleanse and I've heard about coffee enemas. I'm afraid that these will cause diarrhea and I know that diarrhea will inflame and aggravate hemorrhoids.
Of course after the ordeal that I just had with bleeding, I'd wait a few weeks before doing any of this, but I wanted to know if anyone out there has some really good cleanses that help.

Beta-TCP the best liver cleansing supplement I've found. Plus phosphotidylcholine supplements. Within one week my ALT went from 178 to 75 still working on getting it under 40. But that's pretty great results.
