A couple (2-3?) weeks ago I notice a smooth shiny area on my tongue about the size of a sunflower seed. It's on the top of my tongue towards the right side. It has gradually grown to be about 3x the starting size.
It doesn't hurt it just feels smooth to the touch, and looks like the little hairs all fell off in that area. Rest of my tongue looks and feels normal.
Has anyone ever had this before? Know what's causing it and if there is something that I need to do about it? Will it go away on it's own?
