A while back, I took AHCC (Active Hexose Correlated Compound) as an immune booster.
It is boasted to be a powerful immune stimulant and T-Cell booster.
While taking it, I was having some gut problems. It may have been a coincidence, but mindful of the fact that AHCC is essentially derived from mushrooms, I thought it might potentially add to fungal problems.
I also wondered if it would contribute to autoimmune symptoms since it is an immune booster, not a regulator.
I'd like to know if anyone out there has been taking AHCC with good results and if it does not exacerbate gut problems.
